May 4, 2008 Showe/Wilcock finish fifth in synchro at Canada Cup MONTREAL – Competition at the Canada Cup wrapped up Sunday with the U.S. participating in synchronized events on men’s 3-meter and women’s 10-meter. Justin Wilcock (Smithfield, Utah) and Burkley Showe (Columbus, Ohio) scored 386.04 points for fifth in men’s 3-meter synchro, and Kaylea Arnett (Spring, Texas) and Michelle Cabassol (Montgomery, Texas) took eighth in women’s 10-meter synchro with 306.96 points. Chinese divers won all four golds Sunday. Qin Kai and Wang Feng claimed the men’s 3-meter synchro gold with 459.93 points, and Chen Ruolin and Wang Xin scored 356.10 for gold in women’s 10-meter synchro. Guo Jingjing and Zhou Luxin won the women’s 3-meter and men’s platform individual contests, respectively. |
